Ok, we've survived our first Oklahoma tornado. There was a tornado just a few miles north of us this afternoon. It's not really tornado season right now, but I guess that didn't matter. I heard the sirens, so I thought I'd better turn on the TV to see what was wrong. They had a helicopter following it (is that smart?), so the girls and I got to see it live. It doesn't look like it did too much damage, but it did remind me to teach the girls a little tornado safety. When we were looking at houses, a large percentage of them had shelters.
So, now we've survived the scorpions, black widow, and now a tornado. (Ooops! Did I forget to post pictures of our black widow experience? I'll try to do that soon.) We really are enjoying ourselves here in Oklahoma.

Excitement must follow the Cougles where ever you go. You should have taken a picture of the tornado on T.V. and posted for all to see. Hope your new home is in the percentage with storm shelters.
Grandma and I went to exercise class at the senior center today. Also enjoyed a program there to honor the Veterans. Rained all day here in Illinois with the temperature dropping.
